Imprints ~

the breath of the Holy Spirit
arrives as if from
nowhere

having made His imprint
disappears
from our view

How interesting that the feathers left so precise an imprint and otherwise left the snow undisturbed.

Your words are perfect for this image.

A challenging thought: we are leaving our imprints on the lives of those we come in contact with . . . and even those we won't ever meet by praying for them, giving to worthwhile causes, etc. May our touch be gentle ...

Beautiful photos

I have never seen the like! The snow imprint of an owl wing!! This is too lovely, and how wonderful that you saw this and thought to photograph it!

You have such "gifted" eyes Susan. You see beauty so clearly and then give it to us as a gift. Thank you.

Incredible photo. And that's so true about the Holy Spirit---it sweeps in and leaves a delicate imprint, but oh the power behind that imprint! Loved this.

Whoa, that is something.

Speaking of skiing, I am going along with 28 kds (k-5 grade) today. I reckon the imprints I leave will be way deeper and fraught with pain!

Blessings.

what leaves its mark on you surely must do so with great tenderness for it seems whenever and wherever you bear witness to it you leave its kindness.

Such a gentle imprint.....much like ours...we just have to pray that ours will be positive and half as beautiful as the owl left........

This was very meaningful to me...thanks

Sometimes it's scary, just how much our actions and words matter; just how much of an impact they can make.

Wow, that's really cool. Impressions last -- even something as graceful and ephemeral as an owl's feathered wing.
