A Fitting Thought ~ Or Not

Some

things

just don't work

despite

our

best efforts

to

hold them together

~ ~ ~ 

does

mending

a

fitted sheet

with duct tape

qualify

me

for membership

in 

the

Northern Minnesota Chapter

of 

Rednecks
{no disrespect intended
for
Rednecks and/or users of duct tape
for
whatever purposes necessary}

yes, it was temporary

no, I no longer have the sheet

yes, I know it's April Fool's Day

:-)

Hanging On ~

not readily letting go of

giving up

or

separated from an object

that one holds

spring

yesterday

Redemption ~

thinking

in

circles

woundings

of 

the past

 

sacrificial

nail holes

Love's
scarred hands
redemptive

act

He was wounded for our transgressions

The chastisement for our peace was upon Him

and by His stripes

Askew ~

When

life

knocks you

off balance

it's

always nice

{though not always advisable}

to have someone

to

blame

while I didn't

actually

catch them

in 

the act

these

are

the masked marauders

{raccoons}

that were

the

culprits

last year

they seem likely suspects to me

Mercy ~

loving and supportive parents
not all little children are so fortunate
this is written for those little girls [and boys]
that haven't known a home
where there

love and nurture and encouragement
