For the Unseen ~

"Perhaps it takes
a
purer faith
to praise God
for unrealized blessings
than for those
we enjoy now."

the shadows cast by the chair...

What a beautiful light streaming in through the window, illuminating the petals and casting diverging shadows. Blessings seen and felt. Wonderful quote.

Indeed.

As beautiful as the tulips are, I am drawn to that other vase on the kitchen counter.

Blessings.

As soon as we realize our blessings, they multiply.

Lovely picture.

yes, I see this... encouragement in the beauty of light and shadow, in the gentle exhortation to trust in the unrevealed goodness and mercy that follows us...

You are a blessing, again and again , Susan.

The shadows and light across the table really echo the sentiment in the quote for me....the spaces in between...the unseen, unnoticed blessings...the ones that have not been received only because we are not paying attention. You have surely captured a moment of blessing in your photograph, one many may have walked right by.

Lovely light. :)

If it makes you feel any better, I often don't grasp my own stuff either. :)

Blessings come in many disguises, and it does take a pure faith to trust that He knows best. Not an easy lesson . . .

Your photo of light and shadows and beauty is wonderful!
