If Only ~

{a little click will enlarge}
Love said,
"Wake still and think of me,"
Sleep, "Close your eyes till break of day,"
But Dreams came by
and smilingly
gave both to
Love and Sleep
their way.

At Night

Callie is so gorgeous and this is the most beautiful photo, Susan. She's so young and active, I imagine it was hard to get this type of photo.

Beautiful eyes! I think Callie's eyes have changed colour. I know Gino's did.
Even so, Callie is so sweet and so photogenic.

Oh, that photo. You've done beautiful things with it, and with the Callie behind the screen too. So wonderful to visit here. Always a new, unexpected treat for us! Have a blessed day, Susan!

I've become a fan of Sara Teasdale and my students respond well to her.
That photograph is professional quality, Susie. Could your new vocation be pet photographer? You would be superb; however, I can't quite imagine that lovely home of yours being overrun by unruly pets much like unruly children who are perfection in today's generation of parents. The 'parents' would positively 'drool' over your photos though!;>)

If I could wake Marley, the Great Cat up from where he is lying on my mousepad, head lying up against my arm as I type, I'm sure he too would be in awe of this photo!

Wow!

Hello Susan. What a fuzzy little creature this is. Now I'm totaly not into cats just this afternoon the cat of a close friend jumped onto my lap....uuuggghhhh I was horrified, those nails! And you know what my friend started to screem because it seems the cat never ever ever goes to people not in the least leap on ones lap....Hmmm wonder what that all means.

But, sorry about the little story, had to share it with you, I do love this one in a picture. Great poem and wonderful shot.
Hugs Dagmar

Susan, do you get Birds and Blooms magazine? A photo contest is posted in the latest issue. You would be very competitive! The categories are bird photos, butterfly photos, or flower photos.
