A Fitting Thought ~ Or Not

Some

things

just don't work

despite

our

best efforts

to

hold them together

~ ~ ~ 

does

mending

a

fitted sheet

with duct tape

qualify

me

for membership

in 

the

Northern Minnesota Chapter

of 

Rednecks
{no disrespect intended
for
Rednecks and/or users of duct tape
for
whatever purposes necessary}

yes, it was temporary

no, I no longer have the sheet

yes, I know it's April Fool's Day

Hanging On ~

not readily letting go of

giving up

or

separated from an object

that one holds

spring

yesterday

Redemption ~

thinking

in

circles

woundings

of 

the past

 

sacrificial

nail holes

Love's
scarred hands
redemptive

act

~ ~ ~

He was wounded for our transgressions

He was bruised for our iniquity

The chastisement for our peace was upon Him

and by His stripes

we are healed

Askew ~

When

life

knocks you

off balance

it's

always nice

{though not always advisable}

to have someone

to

blame

while I didn't

actually

catch them

in 

the act

these

are

the masked marauders

{raccoons}

that were

the

culprits

last year

~ ~ ~

they seem likely suspects to me

Mercy ~

Mercy and loving-kindness and truth

have

met together

righteousness and peace

have

kissed each other
