Time Away ~

I've been away for a short while

leaping over tall buildings

only figuratively of course

spotting someone's knight

in shining armor

enjoying a brief visit to

Barnes and Noble Book Store

relaxing beside

a babbling brook while

enjoying supper with my son

 after a full day of

medical tests

although not in this building
(all is well)

 and realizing, once again,

how very fortunate I am to

 have a loving family and friends

 and a restful place to come home to
