A Little Stroll ~

I have a friend visiting

 and we took a little stroll

 along the driveway

 and checked

 the progress of

 the milkweed

food for the monarchs

and observed the other

wild grasses blooming

in between the rain showers

it was a very fine day

Everything In Its Place ~

 when I looked through

the kitchen window

and saw these little droplets

all in a row

I was intrigued

and had to

venture outside

 to see what each

contained

 in their reflection

 their own little

 view

of the world

I wasn't nearly as enamored

when many similar

little droplets

came dripping through

the ceiling

this morning

forming a puddle

on the floor

there is no photo

of the puddle

at 5:30 AM

my brain

was not yet

fully engaged

! ! !

truthfully

I prefer that

they remain outside

what I see

is

a rock
