Can You Beat That ~

 we're all

in this together

 and it is nice

to have a friend

by your side

when you are

feeling

 beat-up

and

 broken

or when you just need

something fun to do

and one of the chickens lays blue eggs

the shell is blue inside and out

has a patent date

of

 October, 1923

it belonged to my grandmother

and still works just fine

The post card

was old

the picture faded

but the message

from one young man to another

made me smile

Hello Carl --

This is a little remembrance

of the cooks in 1911

that could burn water.

The U.S.A. is fine and

 how is Canada.
