filling her heart

Silence Speaks ~

(a little click will enlarge the photo)
There is always hope,
even in the dark times.
*  *  *
May the God of your hope
 so fill you with all joy and peace in believing
 [through the experience of your faith]
 that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound
 and be overflowing (bubbling over) with hope.
Romans 15:13

Color Me Happy ~

 "Nature always wears the colors of the spirit."
Ralph Waldo Emerson

I've had an enjoyable
time visiting with friends
one of whom I haven't seen for 50 years.
They have added wonderful color to my life.

Undetermined ~

 in one small
blossom
 lies a potential
orchard
what small act of kindness
might you share with someone
that will bear fruit along the way
*  *  *
If I can stop one heart from breaking,
I shall not live in vain;
If I can ease one life the aching,
Or cool one pain,
Or help one fainting robin
Unto his nest again,
I shall not live in vain
.
Emily Dickinson

A Sweet Fragrance ~

  "Can words describe the fragrance
of the very breath of spring?"
Neltje Blanchan
*  *  *
The lilacs are from a bush
my paternal grandmother planted
sometime before her death at the age of 45
in the year of 1922. The bush remains at the edge
of the woods and produces a few blooms each year.

A lovely reminder of a woman that loved flowers.

A Tiny Reminder ~

 And there is pansies,
 that's for thoughts
William Shakespeare
*  *  *
a little pansy love
for when life's a bit askew
or you just need a gentle reminder
that the Lord is always watching over you

Listen
 to the silence,
let it enfold you,
like a piece of music,
like bird-watching
