Food for the Journey ~

had

I

not seen

the robins dining

the imperfection

of

the berries

would have lost

their

sweet appeal

~ ~ ~
I would like to have caught

an

image

of the robins

but

they were eager

to

continue their journey

south

~ ~ ~

this was a reminder to me

that

the bruises in another

may

have come

from

feeding someone else

~ ~ ~

He

who covers over an offense

promotes love

but

whoever

repeats the matter

separates

close friends
