That's why I love my camera, even though it's only a point and shoot for now; it gets me looking/searching for beauty. Thanks for this post Susan.... quite lovely, indeed!
Interestingly I posted an orange blossom to my own blog today, as I'm trying to find my inspiration again. I love settling in to visit, finding peace here, and words of wisdom. Thank you.
my neighbor has a front yard full of these (cosmos?) in just this color... i've tried to grow them, several times, but they just don't do well for me, so i appreciate them from a distance...
Adorably beautiful! Susan I do not get to comment very often but I want you to know that each time I am on the net I visit your blog because it always lifts me up! I thank you so much.

Sometimes, we see so much more when we look up close. These photos show me a beauty I often take for granted in this humble flower.
Love to you, Susan.
Beautiful pic and words too
isn't that saying so true!

Just beautiful. I love the yellow. The words also are wonderful

Such cheerful shots and golden thoughts this day.
Uplifting!
so pretty and the sunshine makes it glow like 22 karat gold.
Oh, that Henry Miller...a strange and wonderful writer...I've loved his words since college.
A lovely unfolding of the common cosmos, Susan.
Summer has some of the most amazing colors!

Wow!
That's the trick, of course; recognizing that moment as golden.
I especially like your first image. The time of just before budding holds the greatest possibilities.
wonderful sequence of moments captured, sort of like the sequence of time it often takes us to recognize the "ah ha" ;)

Cosmos are some of my favorite flowers. They seem like the free spirits of the horticulture world. Always very bright and flowing...
