A new variety of gaillardia to me and it is stunning, especially in the light you shot it in. Have a good evening.

This statement is so true! I just want to gaze at the beauty and glory of nature. Stunning flower--I've not seen one like this.

this is so different and absolutely spectacular, especially the second shot. I did enlarge and sat and stared at each little detail.

The petals are like tiny individual flowers. Fanfare indeed.

Beautifully shot, as always, Susan.

Your gardens (I'm assuming they're yours) must give such enjoyment.

I too, have been attempting to slow down and am learning to say "no" to requests which make demands on time if I have to. I love enlarging these so that I can soak them in.

How could they not just stop us in our hurried tracks - if we will simply look?
