Amazing pictures! There is something so special and unique about roses. You have truly captured their essence...and the thorns...there is much to reflect on in this. Andie
Yep so true that is ! Just like a rose which can never be without a thorn, one cannot be happy all the time without having been sad.Life's a mixture of happy and sad moments. Perfect Life! How perfect is your life? http://www.3smartcubes.com/pages/tests/perfect_life/perfect_life_instructions.asp
Can almost smell them through the screen...mmm... I just love these perfect palest pink roses...*swoon*... I've got roses on the mind too after a weekend walk where there seemed to be roses at every turn. :o) Happy Day, Susan ((HUGS))
Love your new header - and the pictures of rosy perfection are exquisite! Thanks for the reminder that we can't have the sweetness without running the risk of the pain.
oh my oh my I LOVE LOVE the header. these roses are just totally gorgeous. i love the way the light plays on the petals, these are really really special photos so much beyond an average rose.
Oh, they are so linked and could not be what they are without one another! Your photographs are absolutely beautiful! I can almost smell them. May your day be sweet, Sue. ~ linda
My Mom loved rose bushes, when she passed away we sold her house and dug up her roses and planted them at our house, we dug them up again when we moved, trying to keep her roses with us. Your photo's are beautiful.
Nothing more beautiful than roses (Our daughter's middle name - you can tell I'm enamored with them). Such lovely captures! And your new header is stunning!
These are amazing roses, especially enlarged! Beautiful lighting too. I have never had good luck with roses, but I'm inspired to try again after seeing these!
Glad to see you back, Susan. This is the perfect quotation to pair up with your gorgeous rose photos! I love the blush rose. Last night we had a church BBQ at our home and someone brought me a bouquet of lovely pink roses. I'll be using some photos on my blog, too, because there is something so beguiling about beautiful pink roses.

Beautiful. Both of these roses were developed about two blocks from my house,at the Morden Research Station.

Exquisite esp. the Morden Sunrise rose. I've never seen anything like it.
And maybe we appreciate the rose more because of the thorns?
